The Pearls of Achievement Award Criteria was revised and a flyer has been created that describes the criteria. Print a copy of the requirements for Pearls to check off each of the seven criteria as you earn them. Awards are presented at conventions and conferences.
The Distinguished Program Award is designed to recognize chapters with outstanding programs that promote involvement & attendance of members, plus attract the attention of prospective members through creativity and uniqueness. Form is submitted online from August 1 to August 31.

ASSESSING CHAPTER NEEDS AND COMPLETING CHAPTER NEEDS ASSESSMENT

The dates for the Chapter Needs Assessment have changed. The CNA can be submitted between May 1 and June 30. Your chapter earns a Pearl for submitting the CNA on time. The latest Chapter Needs Assessment Timeline is available on the International Website. A sample Chapter Needs Assessment is available now, but the real assessment will not be available until May 1 online. You can find it under Chapter Documents.
Assessing the needs of your members and your chapter is very important for a vibrant, healthy chapter. A Member Needs Assessment should be completed by each member at least every two years. A Chapter Self-Assessment can help in filling out the Chapter Needs Assessment to submit to International.
If you are interested in who our new members are for this year, just go to New Member Listing and type in South Central. New members appear as soon as their ADK Membership Join form is submitted online. Reinstated members are also listed as soon as the Reinstate Membership form is submitted. Remember that the Sponsor Name and Membership Number must be used when submitting new or reinstated membership forms.
